2012 Genomic Sciences Retreat Program

The Genomic Sciences program at N.C. State University invites you to scenic Carolina Beach for an opportunity to relax with family, friends and fellow researchers in the genomics research community. Graduate students will showcase their research in the Genomic Sciences program.

Those graduate students, in their second year of study and above, will give short presentations of their research across a wide array of topics in Bioinformatics and Functional Genomics.

This retreat will provide a chance for faculty and graduate students, normally separated by the boundaries of the organism that they study; or, the department to which they belong, to meet and interact.

We hope this forum for free-spirited scientific communication will foster cross-discipline collaboration and innovative research within the Genomic Sciences program.

Please refer to the information in other portions of this website for the schedule of events, provided meals, hotel accommodations and registration fees.

We look forward to receiving your abstract soon and visiting with you at Carolina Beach on April 13th - 15th, 2012!

Our distinguished keynote speaker is:

Dr. Eyualem Abebe
